Director of Sales and Solutions Consulting

Metafore is a fast growing, independent solution provider in the attractive and quickly expanding product lifecycle management market. We are encountering large interest in our offerings and are constantly looking for qualified individuals who are seeking their next professional challenge in a thriving environment.

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Sales and Solutions Consulting to complement our successful business development team.


Job Description

Reports directly to leader of global business development .

Responsible for sales, marketing and solutions consulting activities in the entire United States.

Sell Metafore products and services to prospective and existing customers.

Define annual business development objectives and strategies in close cooperation with executive management.

Research target industries and companies and define industry and account specific sales plans.

Develop assigned sales territory as well as specific sales opportunities in new and existing accounts.

Interact and develop relationships with potential buyers on all corporate levels, including C-level executives, VPs, directors, managers and associates.

Determine customer needs and business requirements and develop and propose appropriate solutions.

Organize and lead seminars and workshops for existing and prospective customers.

Position Requirements

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting and working with C-level executives as well as engineers and designers.

Excellent analytical skills: Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and translate those into practical PLM solution offerings.

Good understanding of the product development process at manufacturing companies.

BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science or closely related discipline.

MBA degree preferred, but not required.

At least 2 years of practical job experience in sales or engineering.

Must be able to legally work in the US (citizen, Green Card, work permit).
