| Irma Boehringer
- Director of Business Solutions |
 |
As one of Metafore's Director of Business
Solutions, Irma Boehringer's responsibilities include helping
clients to identify the most appropriate solutions to
address existing business needs and problems as well as
defining and expanding the target industries and markets
for Metafore's solution consulting and implementation
services.
Irma has more than 15 years experience in
the high-tech/electronics and manufacturing industries,
throughout which she has held many positions, including
senior level operations management. She has worked at
Concept Development, Inc., a hardware design firm, where
she was exposed to bleeding-edge technology and the tools
required to transform ideas and concepts into finished,
marketable products.
At
Solectron, a leading contract manufacturing firm, she
managed several multimillion dollar programs for large
clients such as Verizon and Handspring/PalmOne. From there
she brings an excellent practical understanding of the
application and benefits of PLM, as she was responsible for
getting high-quality products to market in the shortest
possible time. The use of PLM enabled her to maximize
speed-to-market and minimize errors, which were costly due
to the high volume processed daily.
Irma’s expertise in business development is
greatly enhanced by her operational knowledge of the product
development cycle. She has achieved great success in
introducing a variety of software and hardware products from
conception through reverse logistics to end-of-life. As a
certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor, she was routinely exposed
to the necessity and importance of document control and
regulatory compliance. This experience, coupled with her
hands-on approach to problem solving at all levels of
cross-functional teams has made her a qualified asset for
Metafore.
Irma is active in several local
not-for-profit organizations that focus on women in science
and education. She also tutors high school, college, and
graduate students in mathematics.
Irma has an MBA from the Graziadio School of
Business and Management at Pepperdine University in Malibu,
California. She also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in
